The MBtoKB Privacy Promise
Your files are your business, not ours. MBtoKB is built with a zero-server architecture for file processing — your images and PDFs never leave your device. Here's exactly what that means.
1. What We Do NOT Collect
We do not upload, view, store, or process the images or PDFs you compress. All compression and conversion runs entirely inside your browser using the Canvas API and client-side WASM. There is no server-side file processing to intercept — the architecture makes it structurally impossible for us to see your files.
2. Browser Storage
Any temporary data (like your review submissions or feedback, if you choose to leave any) is stored locally in your browser only, using standard web storage — never transmitted to us.
3. Analytics & Cookies
We do not run tracking cookies, behavioral analytics tracking, or persistent identifier scripts. Your activity on our site is entirely private, anonymous, and unmonitored.
4. Third-Party Services
If any third-party service is used (e.g. for the newsletter signup form), that service's own privacy policy governs data submitted through it. The newsletter form operates on an opt-in basis, and your email is only stored to deliver the requested feature updates.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the tool evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
