When you select a file, MBtoKB uses your browser's native Canvas API (for images) or WebAssembly (for PDFs) to process the files directly inside your device's memory. Because the computation is executed on your local CPU/GPU, it requires no server communication, meaning your files are never uploaded or stored on any remote disk.
